Schools, Colleges, Universities to remain closed on Friday, Saturday | KNO

Srinagar, May 08 (KNO): Amid prevailing situation, authorities on Thursday said that schools, colleges and universities shall remain closed across Jammu and Kashmir on Friday and Saturday. Speaking to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) Minister of Education, Sakina Itoo said, “Keeping in view the safety of students, all the private and government schools, colleges and universities shall remain closed on Friday and Saturday.” Registrar of KU also said, “We have decided to suspend the classwork for Friday. If there are any other changes, we will notify the students accordingly.”—(KNO)
